Successful NGOs need the right funding mix to create Impact and build a better world. But with donor funds severely restricted, and constantly changing priorities and demands the key question is how can we build a financially sustainable NGO?
After this course, you will know how to
- Evaluate the key dynamics of non-profit financial management and what differentiates a financially sustainable organisation from a failing one
- Assess your organisation’s financial risk using your own financial information
- How to create and maximize options for cost recovery
- How to manage overheads and fix funding gaps across different projects from different donors in a single tool (available for download to participants for use at your organisation)
- Create a financial strategy that you can easily communicate and everyone can use
- Diversify your funding and build financial reserves
Who should attend
This course has been specifically designed for decision makers in NGOs, including Programme Directors, Executive Management, Trustees and professionals in charge of their organisation’s strategy. We recommend at least five years work experience to make the most from this course.
